Hi all,

             This week was great in drama. I honestly say that the first 10 minutes was a waste of time though, because that was the time that we used to practise our performance ending song, which we found out wouldn’t fit in our total time allowed so… it was a general waste of time. The rest of the session was of good quality though, because we were able to practice our whole performance, with starting and ending speeches and bowing and all that kind of stuff. We have slightly changed our groups act by taking out some freeze frames, they looked too sloppy. But other than that we are going great and I hope to blog again soon.

Hey Aydan,
This was a great blog entry - you included a lot of information about what you did. Often when making theatre we try out ideas and then in the end have to throw some ideas out because of lack of time or it just wasn’t working well. Its fun to create though and hopefully it just means we’ll have a better performance at the end.

Hi Ayden,
I know what you mean about the ‘waste of time factor’ - but at least the rehearsal meant you knew it wouldn’t fit, so there’s an upshot there. Sounds like your editing and selecting techniques are getting quite refined. Well done!
